When you use Showcase AI to create videos, we may collect:

  • Input Materials: Text, images, scripts, media files, and any other content you manually upload or input into the Showcase AI platform.
  • AI-Generated Outputs: Videos, avatars, graphics, and other creative assets ("Creatives") generated by the Service based on your input and instructions.
  • Scheduled Posts: Content (including Creatives, captions, and scheduling details) you prepare using our scheduler module for publication to connected social platforms.

c. Data from Connected Third-Party Accounts (OAuth)

We use secure OAuth protocols to connect to platforms only with your explicit permission. We request the minimum scopes necessary for functionality.

Google & YouTube:

  • Data Collected: Basic profile (name, email), OAuth tokens.
  • Permissions Used: For YouTube: youtube.upload to publish videos you schedule. We may also request youtube.readonly to validate your channel.
  • 🔒 Critical Note: We do not access your broader Google data (e.g., Drive, Gmail, Search history). Our use is strictly limited to authentication and publishing your prepared Creatives to YouTube as you direct.

Facebook, Instagram & Threads:

  • Data Collected: Account ID, basic profile info, OAuth tokens.
  • Permissions Used: pages_read_engagement, pages_manage_posts, instagram_basic, instagram_content_publish to read your pages/accounts, schedule posts, and publish your Creatives.
  • 🔒 Critical Note: We do not access your private messages, friend lists, or news feed data. Data is used solely to manage and publish content to the professional accounts/pages you authorize.

Pinterest:

  • Data Collected: Account ID, OAuth tokens.
  • Permissions Used: boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, pins:write to access your boards, create Pins, and publish your Creatives.
  • 🔒 Critical Note: We do not access your private or secret boards unless explicitly shared for publishing. Data is used solely for publishing content you create within our Service.

d. Technical & Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • Log data (IP address, browser type, OS).
  • Device identifiers.
  • Usage patterns (features accessed, time spent, clicks).
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain session state, analyze trends, and personalize your experience. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

3. AI Services & Data Processing: Our Core Commitment

This section is fundamental to our service design.

  • Strict Data Segregation for AI Features: Our optional AI-assisted content creation tools (e.g., video generation, avatar creation) process only the specific text, images, or media you manually upload or input into the AI feature module.

Absolute Isolation from Social Data: Our AI models and services DO NOT receive, process, or have access to:

  • Any data imported from or related to your Google/YouTube, Facebook/Instagram, or Pinterest accounts.
  • Your OAuth tokens, social profiles, friend lists, or private social content.
  • Any data from your social media scheduler module unless you explicitly copy/paste or upload that specific content into an AI tool input field.

No Training on Your Data: WE DO NOT USE user data from connected platforms (Google, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube) or your generated Creatives to train, fine-tune, or improve our own or any third-party generalized AI/machine learning models. Our AI tools are provided "as-is" by our partners, and your data is processed ephemerally to generate your requested output.

Compliance: Our limited, segregated use of data from Google APIs fully complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How We Share and Disclose Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may share data in these limited circumstances:

  • With Trusted Service Providers: Vendors who perform services for us (payment processing, cloud hosting, customer support, analytics), under strict contractual data protection obligations.
